Smart PR fills in the Blanks- Derek Blanks on 'Housewives of Atlanta'

I was so excited to watch Housewives of Atlanta on Bravo last night. But when I found myself thinking I should get my girls together to do an alter ego photo shoot inspired by the episode with celebrity photographer, Derek Blanks, I thought hmmm, there might be something bigger here. 

From the outside looking in it looked very strategic. How smart was it to contact NeNe to round up the girls? She clearly is enjoying her position as this season's breakout star, and reaching out to her only compliments her ego.  Keep in mind the same drama on this episode could have taken place regardless of who the photographer was, but inserting Derek Blanks who clearly does something different made it more special. He may have even started a trend among other housewives like myself who might not be as famous. Yet.
